Non existent customer service
Non existent customer service. I ordered a camera, paid extra for next day delivery as it was for a birthday present. Tracked the delivery, all good until it got to the Netherlands where it stopped. After several days of trying to get to customer service I eventually saw an update from courier - returned to sender. Again attempt to get to customer service who said I would get a refund. When I pointed out I wanted a camera and had not cancelled the order, she said I could re-order but could give no explanation for why the first one didn’t arrive so that seems unwise. Now attempting to get a full refund and an explanation but the customer service, misnomer, has absolutely no idea and it seems completely impossible to escalate a complaint to get any sort of meaningful response. Can’t understand how this company can get away with this behaviour as it seems from previous reviews that it is completely normal for them. I shall be seeking legal advice in the morning.

Online offer
I saw an offer online for the GoPro Hero 10 bundle which also included a 1 year GoPro subscription. I already have a GoPro Hero 9, but with this offer I decided to upgrade, plus my 1 year subscription that was included with My Hero 9 was due to expire in a few days. I cancelled the automatic renewal of my current subscription so I would not be automatically charged on my card. I then purchased the Hero 10. I clicked on the offer link and I noticed that when the product was in my basket there was no mention of the 1 year subscription. I took a screenshot of this offer just in case there were any issues, however, I did not expect there to be any as I thought they would simply send me a voucher code or apply the subscription to my current one which was due to expire in a few days. When the GoPro Hero 10 arrived there was no information about the included 1 year subscription. When I eventually got through to their Live Chat to ask about this, the agent did not seem to understand or care - one or the other or possibly both. She said I should have purchased it under a different email address, and that if I wanted the 1 year subscription, to sign up under a different email address. I advised her that I should not have to signup and pay as I should have 1 year free. She kept saying there is no ‘free’ subscription. She could not seem to understand that ‘includes 1 year subscription’ is the same thing as ‘free subscription for 1 year’. We were going around in circles for over an hour. I asked her if she could apply the subscription to my alternative email address but this was not understood either. I even sent her the screenshot of the offer which shows the date and time and this was only a few minutes before I placed my order. I thought she would understand that I was genuine and not after a later promotion (after my order was placed). She kept insisting that even if I got the offer shown, that I would have paid for the subscription. Perhaps their staff are not trained properly because I do not understand what she was confused with - the offer included 1 year subscription in the price quoted. In the end I gave up as we were getting absolutely nowhere and she was providing inaccurate information. I don’t blame the agent as I think GoPro must train their staff to say no under almost all circumstances. For such a well known brand their customer service is shocking. They do not even have an email address to complain to. I may try and return my GoPro because I find the handling of my complaint terrible and no understanding whatsoever. I think it is one of those companies, if you have no reason to contact them you’ll love your GoPro, but if you ever need to contact them, you only have to look at their scores to see the majority of people have a negative experience.

Fraudulent and unethical practices
I ordered a HERO10 BLACK cam last night on GoPro.com. After confirming my order using a link on the landing page, I discovered that there are two lower price offers on two other pages of the website. As soon as I found that out within few minutes of placing my order, I am trying to cancel/mend the order without any success. There is no way to reach the company and the only human beings I can reach are the offshore customer service centers who have no knowledge of the process or practices. The irony is that I live few miles from the head office of GoPro - I intend to visit them if I do not hear from them within 24 hours of the incident.

Unprofessional and possibly illegal practices within the state of California.

I bought GoPro Hero10 for my holiday to India. Initially, I was very impressed by the camera's quality and capabilities, particularly the stabilization during video recording. However, it would have been better if they had added some more features for editing the video. Apart from that, it is a high-quality camera. Just add more functionalities and decrease the price!

HORRIBLE customer service!!
HORRIBLE customer service!!! They did not send the SD Card in my order, I was thinking this should be no big deal I am sure they will send a replacement. boy was I wrong, they were nearly impossible to get in touch with. I waited for days for a callback and never got one (The approx callback time was 22 mins) . So then I contacted through Facebook, they were no help and sent me back to the website for help. I finally spoke to someone over chat. Then they made me take a picture of the items I did receive. Not sure how this proves I didn't get the SD Card. Just ridiculous. Company is a complete joke! Never once could even say sorry about the inconvenience or sorry that you didn't receive your complete order. Then after the person on the chat says I will be sent a new card today, I get a email 10 minutes later saying I need to send a picture. (after I thought the whole thing was taken care of) We will see if I ever get it.

My new GoPro 10 is unable to connect to…
My new GoPro 10 is unable to connect to their phone app. The camera is basically a brick. Unituitive menus and buggy software make this a must avoid product. Their customer service is non existent. Just miles of unfettered web lists. Maybe their app works with iPhones, it sure doesn't play with Android.

I have had no camera for THREE Months
I have had no camera for THREE Months. I returned it over a month ago and they said the package was empty. So it was opened, since I did not courier an empty envelope. I am paying a subscription they won't cancel. I requested a call back TEN times and nobody called me. I spoke to support on chat twice a week for 3 months and no movement or progress. Truly the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I will absolutely be cancelling my subscription, I want nothing more to do with these people.

Terrible customer support
Terrible customer support. No number to call support. Terrible website. Good luck getting support to responded to inquiries. Call backs never work. Double charged for my yearly subscription and know way to contact for help.

I have been completely unable to get…
I have been completely unable to get windows 10 to recognise my hero10 black either to transfer / view files or to use it as a webcam.

Identical results with my laptop and desktop with a fresh install of windows 10.

I see the gopro quik app is now obselete and no replacement is planned( 'No longer in development').

The only way to transfer files seems to be to remove the card and use a card reader.
The camera itself seems OK (but limited in practical ways like battery life and significant limitations using external power )
It also overheats and I had to purchase a third party accessory to be able to attach a safety lanyard -really for an 'action camera'?
But without any viable connectivity it is not very usable.
The response from gopro has been to either insult (have you turned the camera on?) or suggest I should change my windows 10 computer for something else that is compatible.

It is clear from the web this is a widespread problem and the strong suspicion is that the camera is deliberately crippled in order to sell their cloud subscription.

Cheap chinese cameras do (a lot) better than this.

Not so great, pretty annoying.
My experience was meh, I got subscribed & didn't realize. I think they trick you with that bit, I got refunded through PayPal because I cancelled it straight away though, apparently they wouldn't refund me otherwise. I was never going to use it... The camera came very fast, nicely packaged in the bag. The only thing is that it doesn't come with an SD card EVEN THOUGH I ORDERED THE BUNDLE WHICH WAS MEANT TO COME WITH THE SD. ?? I will be sorting that out or else I'm going to get refunded for the SD card I never got, I used Zip & PayPal so if anything goes wrong or if your camera was crappy etc, just hit up PayPal & they will 100% help you. The reviews honestly scared me & are pretty accurate, I won't be buying from gopro.com again. It annoys me that we have to always go back & sort it out, when they are supposed to be making sure that us customers are getting everything we have paid for.

I truly can't believe what good marketing can do for a company. I recently purchased the hero 8 and that is worst overpriced purchase I ever made. Thank God almighty that store seller recommended hero 8 not 10 for my needs because I would have lost 200eur more.
Camera overheating, constant lag of camera and bugs in quik app makes it almost useless.

Trust me on this one, your phone camera is way better.
So disappointed

They (GoPro) breaks pairing with an update and tells me they can do NOTHING! So I sit with a few thousand dollar product that is no more tha
Have a karma drone- paid for the “break it fix it”, full support-

They pushed a forced update ages ago and since then my karma will not pair to the controller-! So I spent thousands on a drone that is DOA!
Support is unbelievably BAD!
You habve two options- to have a call back or chat…
After trying to connect to support for several months, I finally had support call back the other day… she went they all I did and said she could not help- but she would send me info what she sent were papers on the EXACT steps I tried (with and without her) multiple times-
Finally got in touch with someone else finally and what do I get !??? “So sorry”, but we can send u a discount on a camera!!!

I can not believe - first that they do not support when you buy an extended “u break, we fix” protection- then they cause the problem with a forced update that unpairs the drone, and they will NOT fix it simply say “so sorry”!!!

Lost order - nosupport team just dont care
Like a lot of stories here UPS lost the parcel , everyday now I get notifications arriving today and everday it changes to the next day.GoPro nosupport team utterly useless , keep telling me they are investigating and will call back but never do , wont resend the order , wont refund the money ... nothing , simply don't care. I've taken to spamming them on their live chat but even that doesn't wake them into action. In summary AVOID this god awful company and AVOID sending anything via UPS
